WILLOW RUN BADGES

Badging Process - Overview

Willow Run Airport provides a safe, secure environment for its tenants and users. The airport secured area is fully surrounded by barbed wire fence, up to 10' in height, and includes automated access control gates and CCTV monitoring. 

A Willow Run Airport access control ID badge is required of all employees, tenants, and contractors requiring access to the secured area. You must have permission from your employer, leaseholder, hiring tenant, or the Airport to obtain such a badge

Once the application is submitted, individuals are required to attend a one hour training course on Airport Security and Ramp Driver's Safety Training and pass a short test. Two pieces of identification are required for badge issuance, one of which must be a government or school issued photo ID. 

There is a $20 badge processing fee for new badges.  Fee payable by cash or money order only for non-airport employees. (i.e. T-Hangar tenants and small contractors). Airport employee ID badges will be billed to their respective employers. 

The Willow Run Airport Badging office is located in suite 200, 2nd floor of Hangar #1, on the west side of the airport.
